The rooms are nice. Doesn’t look like a hospital, rather the rooms are nicely appointed. The staff keep the rooms clean. The first thing that struck me was the place did not reek of “nursing home”. The staff treated my dad as if he was a friend or family member. I just can’t say enough about how great the staff was. Forest Haven kept me informed on what was going on and were always proactive in his care. They were able to get him to do things that he wouldn’t do at home, like drink water and glucerna. He even liked the food and was able to gain some of his weight back. He refused to eat at other facilities. If I ever have to go to a nursing home/rehab facility, I will want to go to Forest Haven.

My mom was at Forest Haven Nursing & Rehab Ctr, Llc. She was there for two months. It was awesome. My mom was in a regular room when they first brought her in, but the next day they moved her to another room. She still had a roommate, but the setup was like she was in a room by herself. There was a long hall between her and the other patient in the room and there was a bathroom between the two of them, so it was like she was in a room by herself. The staff was very, very friendly. The rehab part where she went for the exercises and stuff was excellent. Aside from therapy, they had all kinds of stuff. They would bring puppies in, and they would have a movie time. There's always something going on there. They have a beauty shop that is well set up. They have a spa area, too.

I stayed at Forest Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for a while. I'm probably going to be moving back there whenever they get a bed available. I stayed there for four or five months. I liked the atmosphere. The staff was wonderful, caring, and considerate. The facility was very clean. They have a chapel and a beauty salon, and they have a good area for your family to come in and visit with you. They're just good. The semi-private rooms were nice and pretty clean. You have one or two out of everybody that's not good, but 90% of the staff was excellent. The food was great. Dietary was good. They need to improve the quietness in the halls. The staff members call from one end to the other. If they see somebody they know and they need to talk to, they'll scream down to the other end of the hall. That needs to change, but I think they're doing a good job.
