"Rose Mary C. Brooks Place was a beautiful place. If I have to go somewhere else to live, I would definitely go there. I checked everything they had, but they can't and won't supply the help that my friend needs. He needs more help than those places are up to. They are more a place to go, either for senior living or for some help. This time what he needs is more than what they can offer. The staff was very nice to me. Nobody had any issues. They were very good. They took me in early. The major person to give me information wasn't there, but they came up with the information between a few of them. The rooms were very nice. It had everything anybody would need that can't live in their home anymore. It was a great place. The people that were living there when I did the walk through seemed very happy."

"My father was in Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation. I was very pleased with it. They were very supportive of him, and they took very good care of him. I did not see his room, since he was in COVID protocol. I was not allowed into the building, but he said they were very good to him. I talked to them probably every other day for the 12 days that he was there. They were constantly giving me updates. They let me know when his benefits were gonna be running out and what care he was getting, so I was very pleased. He said the food was OK, but they have the tendency to serve some of the same things on a daily basis, so it was not necessarily his favorite. He's also 86 years old, and he's kinda stuck in his own ways. He likes bacon and eggs and that's about it. I think his rehab was appropriate for what he needed. He said it wasn't very intense, but he was there for recovery and for protocol with COVID. They did exercises with him twice a day and had him up and about. He was really weak when he went in and he was really there to work on getting some strength back, so he could do some of his own things."

"My brother moved into Boonesboro Trail Senior Living for 11 hours, but he got combative, so we had to take him to a hospital where he eventually passed away. The facility was new, just built in 2021. They were very super nice people. It's a super clean place. All the staff was friendly. Everybody was just as helpful as they could be. His room was good and it was a little bigger than some. It was clean, and the bathroom was a good size with a standup shower. He had a view of the back where he could see the cars passing on the bypass. When we finally got him moved in with the furniture, they were very helpful in helping us get all that done. And then when they got him in, they were very helpful with everything. All we had to do was ask and they just jumped right on it. They had a good activity list. Because we told them that we'd be coming about every once in a while to take him out for country rides on the weekends, and they said that they have a bus and they'll do country rides. "

"The staff is very friendly and patient. They are quick to help resolve problems with the patients. The facilities are what I assume to be average. There isn't a whole lot for the patients to do besides watch television and socialize. The patients have to share rooms and there is sometimes an aroma of bodily waste, although the facility seems to be clean. I saw no patients with soiled clothing nor did I see any bodily waste on the floors. The staff seems to be competent at giving the patients their required medication. The food seems to be on par with your common cafeteria. Of particular note is the fact that they have a separate rehabilitation facility on site. It was a large space and had all sorts of equipment for the patients to use with supervision. They also have some patients that are not invalid, but are there for rehabilitation only. I personally witnessed them helping one such patient with his rehabilitation after a stroke, and they seemed to be very knowledgeable in their practices. "

"This place has very caring workers. Activities for the residents. Clean, nice rooms. The only complaint my family member has is the food. Not much variety or flavor. Otherwise a great place to live. "

"I chose Bourbon Heights because it is very close to my home. The facility is clean and well-kept. The staff there seems to care for their residents. My mom has a feeding tube now, so I really can't tell about the food they serve there. "

"The facilities were very clean and the staff was very courteous. Even on third shift the staff was always willing to listen and always wanted to help the residents. Each and every time I would visit I was always greeted in a very respectful manner and was proud to leave a family friend here. The care here is truly top of the line, as the nurses and even assistants are particularly well educated, some of them moonlighting at the home while attending college classes. This mix of hospitality and good education showed up in the treatment of residents. I visited with more than just my family friend at the facility and noticed that none of the residents had anything bad to say about the staff. This is a real change up from others I have been to where the residents are frequently explaining that they have been hurt by staff. "

"The people of Rose Manor are very friendly and helpful. They're always there to talk to you or give you something you need. Their rooms are updated. Mom has her own bed, dresser, closet, and a TV. "

"Cave Run Manor is an awesome place. My mom has been there for three months, and she’s very happy. It's a large room that we furnished the room with Mom’s furniture and has a living room/bedroom combination, her own bathroom, and an outdoor sitting area. It’s a wonderful place. The people working there are wonderful. Either the owner or her daughter is present at all times. Each resident has a button around their neck which they can press when they need help. They check on the residents regularly to see if everything is okay with them. They cook their meals, help them bathe, clean the rooms, and do the laundry. The dining area is large enough for the residents to gather there. I think they only have 18 residents at all times, and the care is almost one-on-one. They serve food according to the needs of the residents. "

"I toured. When you walk in, it's a beautiful place. It's more like a hotel or resort, and brand new. The staff was very friendly. He took me on the tour, showed me around different things, and showed me the rooms and where my dad would stay. It's very nice, but I can't afford it. They have different stuff to do. They told me about all the different crafts they have for them daily. The price wasn't bad compared to others."

"Liberty Ridge is homier, not quite as fancy, and much less expensive. The surroundings are in a horse park -- you see horses, pastures; it's Lexington, horse country -- and it's beautiful. They have 2-bedrooms, and they have a chef. We had lunch, and they had lots of options. "

"Not your typical elder care facility, My 88 year old mom with memory problems loves this place and I do to. My mom had memory problems for a few years but really shutdown after the death of my father and i think she was ready to join him. I made it my goal to get my mom healthy as possible once more. This is the type of place/club that treats your entire mind body and spirit. with the goal of keeping you out of those depressing full time facilities. both the owner and staff are friendly and pro-active with all your health needs and work with your family doctor aswell as any spiritual advisors you might have in an attempt to keep your golden years happy and healthy. This place is both integral to her health aswell as mind. Moms getting better every day and this place is a huge reason why. So fortunate that i stumbled across this place,"

"We moved my mother-in-law into this nursing home almost 6 weeks ago. She is a Hospice patient and has progressively needed more care and attention. We could not be more pleased with this facility and its staff. My mother-in-law feels safe and well cared for. She is dressed appropriately, checked on regularly, kept clean and fed whatever she is able to eat. The staff are very kind and caring and the response time after the call button is pushed is very fast. The facility is clean, well furnished, cheerful and there is no "nursing home" smell! Staff all seem to be very happy to be working at The Willows. We have not met a single person with "attitude." We can't say enough at this point about how pleased we all are and we dreaded the scenario of having to put my mother-in-law into a nursing home. It really turned out to be the best decision. No regrets. "
