"My husband is at Cal Turner Rehabilitation. It deals with memory care and other odd problems. The staff is very good; it is just that the facilities are not that great. The facility is clean, but it is very spartan. It isn't in the color that you would have in a memory care -- e.g., something more to entice Alzheimer's patients out of their bedrooms. However, the staff is very kind. They just do not have enough staff for the number of patients. There are too many people, but the staff does the best they can. The facility, I think, needs to have less of a sterile ambience. When all these patients have to look at is tan walls and a couple of TVs, it just doesn't really entice their minds. They need a little stimulation, not only for the memory care, but for some of the other patients that are there too. "

"After visiting this facility several times at any given time of day or night, it is top notch in care. The employees seem to truly care for the residents. it is very clean and well-cared for facility. "

"I WAS IN THERE FOR ALMOST A YEAR, TO RECOUPERATE FRO HAVING MY HIP REPLACEMENT REMOVED. THE PEOPLE WERE GREAT IF I ASKED FOR SOMETHING AND THEY WERNT BUSY WITH ANOTHER RESIDENT, I GOT IT RIGHT AWAY. AND THE FOOD WAS AWESOME. THEY HAVE THIS MENUE YOU CAN ORDER FROM AT ANY TIME. IM THINKING OF GOING BACK, AS MY CARE GIVERS NOW ARE NOT QUITE UP TO SNUFF. "

"Fern Terrace faculty are very open and aware of the individuals working there. Many individuals are known on a first name basis and the faculty make good-hearted efforts to make the facility feel like home. Many activities are available for individuals throughout the day and community agencies are invited to participate or introduce other activities as well. The facility is very well kept, however the decorations are very aged and the carpet does need cleaning. The outside facility is well maintained and has a welcoming, warm, facade. If there are any questions or concerns, I have received a very prompt and respectful response. The individuals that I work with are happy to be living in these quarters, though they wish that there was more transportation outside the facility in the summer. I, too, wish there was a way to transport more people as a group to experience the outdoors and the community around them. Fern Terrace is a living facility I recommend to anyone that is interested in such services. "

"My sister is at Arcadia Senior Living Bowling Green. She has been there for 11 days now. The food has been good. She has been talking to some people and going to some activities. Everything has been going good thus far. She has a 1-bedroom apartment. They have a pool table and a little place to go for movies. They also check them out once a week for a movie, to go to Walmart, or that kind of thing. They also have cornhole, bingo, and that kind of thing. Once a week they have a thing where they discuss documentaries on world events. They have a sidewalk where you can go out and walk around. They have a walking group. They have a library. They have a beauty parlor that they can pay and have their hair done. They also have like a little spa room to get their nails done."

"What I liked the most about Hopkins Care and Rehabilitation Center was that the staff was very caring and attentive to the needs of the residents. They were very competent and they took care of mom very well. There's a sitting area, places where you can go outside and be with your loved one, and a little pavilion where you could have a birthday party, or something like that. It was adequate. On the negative side, it's an older facility and kind of looks run down. So, they just need additional attention to renovations."

"I have often told staff, "I want to live here when the time comes, please save me a room". I visit nearly every week, different times of the day/different days of the week, my brother visits two or three times most every week. My 96 year old mother is a resident since January 2014. We were greeted and helped so very much in the beginning process by Judy F. Judy recognized that this transition time was very stressful for our entire family, especially my mother. She worked with us and Mom to make it possible to choose the very best place for her, Massey Springs. We could not be more pleased with the care my mother receives. Her room always, always is clean, neat and always fresh. Attention is paid to Mom regarding safety issues and she always has her alert necklace around her neck ( which she really doesn't want to wear, however, it is obvious someone reminds her of the need to do so). She is cared for with sweetness, concern and compassion by all staff. The staff is always friendly to me, helpful and willing to discuss any issues arising for my Mom. Meals are terrific, often served with homemade items such as bread and deserts. I must especially praise Kathy the Activities Director! She approaches the residents as if they are her own family. Kathy provides a great variety of activities that meet the specific and unique desires and needs of the residents, understanding that one size does not fit all. She is warm and affectionate with residents, knowing that often older folks are lonely or have outlived many of there friends or close relatives and lost their past active lifestyles. I would recommend Massey Springs to anyone and I truly thank God for the blessings our family has received through our association here. "

"I really enjoying my visits to this facility as the staff was very professional, the facility clean and up to date, and the food was very good. The patient I was there to visit soiled their self moments after my arrival and within minutes of notifing the staff the patient was cleaned and changed as were the linens on the bed. Shortly after the staff changed her, the cleaning staff came in and removed all the trash and dirty linens. I was very happy with the services. The nutritional staff came and asked what she wanted for lunch and promptly brought in her food. They also brought in a guest tray for me and the food was fantastic. I was all around pleased with the service and care. "

"Medco of Franklin is a great nursing home! My grandmother nor I have no complaits since the past 4 months she had been living there. The employees there are amazing each and every one of them have always been there when she needed them and answered all the questions I have. They always did the extra tasks I asked them to do for my grandmother. They take very good care of her! They feed her everytime she is hungry. They have great food and it don't make her sick like Iv heard abt some of the places. The staff cleans up very good after her also she has never had a complaint. I would recommend anybody to stay here it's a great place "

"My mother has moved into Southern Kentucky Senior Living. The building is clean. The food is good. Care is good, too. It's beautiful. It's well laid out. It's easy to navigate. The lighting is phenomenal. She has low vision, and this couldn't have been better. It is safe. There are enough grab bars without it being overdone, so to speak. It's easy to move in. You have the double doors to come into her apartment from the outside. The whole facility is on one floor. I can't say enough. I'm pleased with it, and she's happy with it."

"The Bungalows at Bowling Green was a little bit better than the other place we saw, as far as more comprehensive memory care and assistance in transfers and all that. We were able to look at that one a little bit closer because they have some of the things that we need. I didn't have any objections to what they were providing. They had brochures, and they gave me a complete tour of the facility. They were able to show me a room, and I'm very, very satisfied with the staff there. I saw the fitness area, activity room, and hallways and rooms. I was very satisfied with the upkeep. I didn't see any problems there at all."

"The entire staff from the admissions, nurses, therapists, CNAs, social workers and others I have failed to mention were excellent. There is a personal interest in their resident's mental and physical recovery . The nurses and CNAs take a special interest in their residents. My husband is treaded more like a family member than a resident. His diabetics is under control with the daily monitoring of the nurses. My husband's physical and reasoning ability has amazingly improved with the aid of the therapists. He went from bed ridden to being able to walk with a walker and soon to be walking independently. The food has vastly improved since my husband arrived in late Jan 2022.Eventhough my husband didn't participate in the activities, I observed how much others enjoyed the games they played such as bingo. "Stonecrest Assisted Living Facility had very wonderful staff. There were only 24 rooms with 12 rooms on each side. Outside every four rooms was a wide hallway with couches and chairs where they can socialize. In the middle of it was the dining area and on the other side was the gathering area where they do exercises. They also had a covered porch area that's really nice. The place looked very homey, decorated nicely, and very clean. The rooms had walk-in showers and nice closets. They looked like nice efficiency apartments."

"My grandmother resides at this facility, and I can tell you that it is wonderful. The staff is extremely caring, and polite. My grandmother has never been happier, and she has lived in 2 other Assisted Living Facilities before. The food is wonderful, and if she doesn't like something they are having, the dietary staff is very happy to provide an alternate food item. They have wonderful activities, both on the property, and off. The administrator makes every effort to get out, and get to know both the residents and their families, and tries diligently to accommodate requests. Her door is always open, and I have personally seen first hand, how she and her staff take the time to address issues regarding their residents with their families. She has welcomed me into her office several times, when my grandmother was being difficult, and we as a family, worked with the staff at Richland Place to work toward a solution. I love this facility so much that when the time comes, I will be placing my mother here! Wonderful Place! "
