We toured Spurgeon Manor. The rooms were bigger and carpeted. They had more options for activities. They had more to offer, and the facility was much bigger. They have more food options. They have three choices for a meal versus the other place where they have one. The people were knowledgeable and accommodating. They gave us all the information, and they answered all the questions. The rooms were very clean. They have lots of amenities. They have sitting rooms, puzzle rooms, and a huge garden.

Spurgeon Manor was a beautiful facility. It has all levels. They have independent, assisted, and memory care. I don't know much about the staff. It was just a short visit inquiry. I know a lot of people that have relatives there, and they do a good job. The dining room and common spaces were all very bright and clean. I pretty much looked only at the memory care area, but I have been in the independent and assisted living quarters. The independent quarters were very nice. I visited some people there that were doing rehab, and they have an excellent rehab department. I only talked to one lady and she was very nice, courteous, and knowledgeable. I was there on a Sunday afternoon, and it was pretty quiet.
