The care that she got I thought was good; I don’t have any complaints about the Life Care facility or their staff. They had an activity room where they would do exercise, and they would go out once or twice a week to different places or play dominos and bingo. I thought that it was excellent, what they did for the people that are there. Cleanliness is excellent, and most of the staff was very good. The management of the facility took care of it very well and really did a very good job. They were the most expensive in the Sandpoint area and it was just too much, especially for a small town like that, but other than that everything else is good.

When I had first heard that my Grandma was being sent to a home I was scared, because I've heard horror stories about homes with terrible staff that mistreat their residents. I'm happy to report that that wasn't the case with the Life Care Center of Sandpoint. They treated my Grandmother very well, and when we visited, they treated us just as well. The staff were very professional and nice, and they were always smiling. They brought a very positive and happy atmosphere to the facility. The facility itself was very clean, which was nice, and their cleaning staff worked very professionally. The only amenity I remember was that you could order food while you were visiting your family member...but it was really good food. Overall I would recommend this facility to anyone in the area that wants their elderly relatives to have their last days be fun and safe.
