"My wife moved into the memory care at DeSano Place Village. Everything looks well cared for and tended. The staff had been very helpful. My wife said they're treating her right, and they've been very attentive to our needs. The dining area is more like a counter in the main room of the facility. I tasted a dessert my wife had once and it was very good. They have several games and they take them for walks."

"If we would put mom in a facility, we would put her at River Rock Assisted Living. It's a really nice facility and very nicely laid out. The rooms were actually large and very bright. They have big windows and they all have bathroom. I would say the staff were warm and friendly. Their dining room and kitchen is very open. All in all, the place is very homey. It doesn’t feel institutionalized. "

"My Mom was a resident of Desert View for several years until her passing. I could not have asked for a better place for her. They treated her with care, respect and mostly love. Any concerns or questions were answered promptly. They had activities for them, took them for rides, had picnics. Mom referred to the staff as her girls. And the main telling point was the dr at the ER when Mom had to be taken in said it was the first time someone said they wanted to go back to the home. They truly made it HER home. They were her girls and I am forever grateful for the love and care they provided to her."

"We've toured The Canyons Retirement Community three times. When we walked in, we liked what we saw and the feel of the place. There's lively energy there. We toured their assisted living, and the staff there seemed very, very friendly, very pleasant, and courteous towards anybody there (whether they're visitors or the residents there in the facility). The general appearance of the place was very clean and very pleasant to the eye. The decorations were very nice and the hallways were wide open. It is also just right near the new hospital there in Twin Falls; it's a comforting thing."

"This is a very small (7 resident) facility with comfortable rooms some with private baths in several different sizes. Alpine has a very caring staff and owner, and there is a second facility in nearby Kimberly, ID. Meals are well-prepared and tasty, although I would prefer more fresh veggies. I've lived here two months and am on Hospice, too; I really feel safe and happy here. "

"Bridgeview Estates is good. I am impressed with the staff. Everybody is great. It's very nice, well-set up, well-staffed, and immaculate. Mom moved there. The one one-bedroom apartment has lots of space in it. It's got a nice big bedroom, big closets, and a nice bathroom that was large enough for wheelchairs as needed. I am very impressed."

"My boyfriend is now at River Ridge. He's been there for two weeks now. He seems well cared for there. It is clean but the rooms feel very institutional and he doesn't like the food. They have different social hours. They have volunteers who come and do singing. The staff is very friendly and very nice. "

"My wife was at Willow Place Assisted Living for about 3 weeks. They treated her wonderfully. They were caring and did everything they could to care for her and make her time as easy as possible. The staff was wonderful. My wife wasn't eating much, but they did the best they could. They tried to give her stuff that she could handle. I had a meal there at Thanksgiving, and it was wonderful. Willow Place was a home. It was not a large facility. So, it was a very homey environment and it was very comfortable that we felt at home. It was peaceful and quiet, and it was exactly what my wife needed. Everything they did, they did very well."

"We chose to move my husband at Cenoma House, because it's a memory-loss home. The care was wonderful when he was there. They were very patient and kind to him. It's an older home, but it was very clean. In the summertime, they had barbecues and picnics and things like that."

"My husband was at Chardonnay Assisted Living for about a year. He was in assisted living. They were very, very nice and quite thorough. The people out there seemed to care so much so I was very impressed. They have two houses of people. The one my husband was in had 13 people, but it was not full. I think there were about 12 or 11 other people there when he was there. His room's upkeep was very good. I ate there once and the food was okay. The dining area had two tables and they sat 4 or 5 people around them. Some of the people ate in their rooms but my husband ate at the dining table. My husband didn't participate in them but I think they had crafts and such for them to do. They had puzzles too and those kinds of things. It was expensive but all of them are."

"I didn't like Twin Falls Care and Rehabilitation Center much, but at least the aides stayed to take care of my mom, and they knew her and would talk to her and treat her like she was a real person. It was roomy, and they had a nice entryway for people who would come to visit. They had a nice room where I could play the piano for my mom, a nice TV room, and a really nice dining area. "
