My friend is in Providence Healthcare of Thomaston. She's had problems since she got there about being cold and not having enough cover. The place is old. The floors are old and spotty. The rooms are too small for two beds. The nurses at the desk are very friendly, but the rest of the people do not show much friendliness when you ask them a question. I'm hoping that'll change when they get used to me as a visitor for my friend down there. It's a little rundown. The dining area is OK. I haven't been there when a meal is served, but my friend is not complimentary at all of their food. They have prayer meetings and they have a smoking area for them to go and smoke if they want. I don't think it's worth whatever she's paying. There's a teeny, tiny little closet. They have to share this chest of drawers with their roommate. She's not happy and I'm not thrilled with this place. It's not exactly what we were thinking it would be.
