"Excellent staff! My father-in-law is treated with so much love and respect. And each time we visit we are greeted by name and often by hugs! They offer plenty of activities and take such excellent care of the residents. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Clary!"

"I'm currently at Wilkinson Care Center. This is a very nice facility. If you want to eat in your room, they'll bring your meals to you. If not, you can go to the dining room. This is a very nice facility because of the people that work here, they're so concerned with everything about you. They check on you and they make sure if you need assistance that you get assistance. It is just a nice facility. My room is like an efficiency apartment. I have a small kitchen. I have a microwave and a sink in it, and I have a small refrigerator. In the bigger room is my furniture that I brought with me. I have a little dining room table and two chairs. I have two chest drawers. When my husband was in this room with me, we had a queen-sized bed, but since he's not here, I've gone to a twin bed. I make quilts and I have a little place where I can sew now so that I could bring my hobby with me. They have some rooms where you can have an extra bedroom. So if your grandchildren would come, they could spend the night with you. They have two-bedroom apartments. We had Silver Sneakers. We had one day where we did exercise, and even people in wheelchairs would come and exercise their arms and everything. We always have puzzles in a little room down there. It's kind of like a little sitting room, but it's got plenty of tables. We always have puzzles where anybody who likes to do puzzles can come and work on them. We have a little gym with some exercise equipment, and then we have the larger dining hall. Breakfast is at 7:00, lunch is at 11:00 and dinner is at 4:00. That's a little early for me for every one of those. Their workers worked from 7:00 to 7:00, so I know that's why they put that on there so they could get through with the dinner things before it was time for them to go home. But I'm very happy here. The staff are very good. They have an activity director. They raised the price about three months ago for the first time in four years, so that sounds very good to me. According to other places I checked, this is about the cheapest price you can get for what you get out of it."

"Mom and dad are in Habersham Home. They're very well taken care of and I couldn't ask for a better staff. They have socials, something planned every day, and my mom participates. They have Bingo, all kinds of games, lemonade socials, popcorn and movies, and the residents go outside for walks. The staff is excellent."

"My father-in-law was at The Oaks - Scenic View (Skilled Nursing) for rehab. At the time, with COVID, they were the only place that had an opening that could do the rehab, so we just took it because of that. We think they did a pretty good job. He was paralyzed on the left side and was making progress. He regained mobility in his left arm, and hand, and his leg. We were happy with it, but we were not allowed in, and it was very hard for us. In the beginning, they had him under observation most of the time, and then he moved into the rehab, had someone caring for him, but I don't know if it was constant. With us not being able to go in, I would have liked them calling more, giving daily reports of what was happening, and more communication from the staff. I don't think they have activities because of COVID. They have the residents kind of locked into different areas, but I'm sure they were very good. The back area was wonderful too. There were picnic tables, and it was just really natural and beautiful out there. That was really neat."

"We had dad admitted to the oaks, he was always clean and dry..the staff kept me updated on his care..meds..he was happy always there. I know many ask about the patients in hallways, until you get them all up dressed cleaned and fed..you haven't really understood the care level given here..I rather see pop scooted down the hall,than left in bed all day..I rate it 5 stars..great home to live in.. "I like Habersham Retreat. It's an open community, people can come and go. There's more freedom. It's a level area, it's clean, neat, and easy to navigate through the rooms. I just didn't see any activities provided for them to do. The staff is very thoughtful, and they obviously cared for their residents as I watched them speak and interact with them, but it's more institutional looking."

"I moved my mother to The Vernada and I find it as A-plus. They don't advertise, but I have to wait from a long waiting list to get my mom in there. It is a very small, private facility and only has a dozen members who live there. It is not like a hospital setting and it is a step above the assisted living. The rooms are much larger than normal. They have gourmet food. They have a program director who plans the activities. "

"I did a tour of Cannon Woods. It's very nice. It's swanky. I didn't like the bathrooms. It's a little bit too small for my needs because I'm using an electric scooter or a wheelchair all the time. The closets are very small. I thought it was very well kept. It was very nice that they used tablecloths on their tables, which I liked. They have little floral arrangements on them, which was neat; of course, they're just artificial. The rooms were so nice and clean. It's just that it did not fit my needs. The person who gave me the tour was the owner. He was very nice, and he answered all my questions. He kind of had a jovial attitude, so he makes you feel comfortable. I liked the spot. It's very nice, and it looked very well kept. It's a pretty building. I know they have exercise. It's right next to the movie theater, and right next to the Senior Citizens Center. It has a lot going for it. I could ride over to the senior citizen center and partake in their activities. It's just at this time in my life, I don't think it's going to fit my needs. The dining area was small, but very nice. It has details that were very pleasing. I have heard that their food is very good, but I have not tried it personally. The outdoor spaces seem rather small. If you want to go out in the parking lot, it's fine; it's where people are driving in. As for the residents themselves, each unit has a screened in porch; it was very nice. As the floorspace goes outside, it was not really great. I did meet a few of the staff, and they seem to be very nice."

"My mom has been here a few months and my brother, sister and I try to visit each day. We come at random times and have noticed the facility is always clean. The staff is friendly and they always have a smile on their face. I continue to be impressed as I've noticed the staff doesn't mind helping any of the residents with whatever they may desire. I have never seen any staff with a negative attitude. They are very professional and caring with every resident. The rooms are roomy in size with a walk-in closet, a good size bathroom with walk-in showers, a mini-kitchen and a TV hookup. We furnished it with our bed and furniture to complete the room. Mom's room needs......ugh... Nothing!! Although I/we were invited to attend, I make a point not to join the residents for any any activities (birthday parties, singing, new events, games, mini-church, etc.), but mom goes and she seems to enjoy them all. All residents have to go to the cafeteria for each meal to eat. This is a good thing to keep mom moving. Overall the food is good and better than expected. Occasionally, they may serve something mom doesn't care for, but she has a backup stash, so it works OK for us all. The management is very professional and available most any time we have questions or concerns. I/We are amazed at what the amenities they offer and how well they stay on top of each thing they do. We know we are so blessed to find such an awesome place. It is a perfect fit for mom and our family. "

"Approximately four weeks ago, we moved my mother-in-law in a secured section of Foothills Manor. This section is for their Alzheimer's patients. We got her in a private room, which is very spacious. It has a nice bath. Everything is very lively and open. I have not actually eaten any of the food, but when we visited her, she says it is pretty good. She is happy being in that facility. "

"We are going to keep my friend in the rehab to get her stronger. She is at Mountain View Health Care Center. I love the caring people who work there. However, I wish that the building was in better condition. My friend is with two other women in the room, and I would want her to have a little bit more privacy. They have a common area and people can go there to eat their meals. They don't have to be restricted to having them in their rooms, so that's a very good thing. The cleanliness is good, but the actual facility is quite old."

"The staff and caregivers at Lila Doyle nursing home treated my family member with the respect and dignity that they deserved. Although the staff seemed a bit overworked, the nurse aides worked well to come together as a team and help all the residents to dress, shower, eat, and be comfortable throughout the day. I am a caregiver myself and know how the caregivers at Lila Doyle feel when taking care of the residents. I was glad to see that they gave such great attention to my family member. I visited on more than one occasion and my grandmother received great care each time. She was very glad to be in such a caring, nurturing environment. The nursing staff at Lila Doyle Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that each resident and family member felt secure in knowing that their loved ones were in the right place. "

"My sister has been in Seneca Health and Rehab for about a month now. It's been wonderful. So far the staff has been really great. The place is not luxurious, but it is clean and seems to be well run. She's getting physical therapy every day."
