I moved my mother to The Vernada and I find it as A-plus. They don't advertise, but I have to wait from a long waiting list to get my mom in there. It is a very small, private facility and only has a dozen members who live there. It is not like a hospital setting and it is a step above the assisted living. The rooms are much larger than normal. They have gourmet food. They have a program director who plans the activities.
