My mom was at Lehigh Acres Health & Rehabilitation Center for nine years, and it was a clean and good place. They also got good food, entertainment, and special activities. She had a shared room, but the rooms were clean. While she was there, they also kept it up to date. They had activities that started right after lunch, and then they would send them for their nap and medications would be given on a regular basis. The people were friendly. They knew me and I knew them. I was using a walker, but they would give me one of their wheelchairs to move around in because I couldn't walk that far to my mother's room. They also offer a beauty salon. She had her hair done, and her nails done every two weeks. They had family get togethers, and they had an outdoor gazebo with a TV where we could visit. We had her birthday a couple of times there, and then once when we had newborn kids. It was easy to visit for the grandchildren too. It was such a good place that my sister visited for a couple months, and she was going like almost every day to see her.
