The facility is small for a nursing home. I believe it has 44 beds. The staff is warm and caring. The chef is excellent! On at least 2 occasions I have eaten gourmet meals at this facility. They also provide religious counsel and visiting singers for the comfort of their patients. Several of their patients are over 100 years old. It is located near a park and golf course in Long Beach, but the busyness of the neighborhood is not felt at Bel Vista. It is quiet, calm and serene.
