I terminated Visiting Angels for 2 reasons: I was told they are not allowed to "ask if their home care providers are vaccinated". My mom is 94 years old and frail. They did find a care provider, but are very short staffed and finding a replacement when my care provider did not show was not allows possible. My second problem is they demand a 1 week notice to change a scheduled day. Yet, as a client, I received a notice 3 hours prior to the care provider coming, and told my provider was not coming, and no other else was available (because I only wanted a vaccinated employee). Unfortunately I had to a request a scheduled visit with only a 1 day notice because of a change in my mom's doctor's appt. I was charged for a 4 hour visit, even though care was not provided. I would not recommend this company.

Visiting Angels assisted my mother with in home care for the last year of her life. They helped with household chores, grocery shopping, cleaning, cooking and doctors visits. Staff was always prompt, courteous, and respectful. I worked with the owner of the franchise, Jennifer B, and found her to be knowledgeable, caring and always willing to discuss the best way to approach my mother's care. I will always be grateful for the assistance I received from Visiting Angels and would recommend them to anyone.

Visiting Angels provided quick reliable caregivers to my family. The caregivers are experienced and compassionate. I was impressed with the patience and care with which they managed my mother. She has Alzheimers and they would engage her in conversation and include her in coordinating her daily activities. The active supervision and involvement of the management team was unsurpassed. They kept the family informed about any change in condition my mother experienced.
