Elara Caring comes in to check and help clean my mother-in-law's house, make sure she's getting to the restroom if she needs, and makes her bed. They also provide occupational therapy and a nurse to check her vitals, do blood work, and make sure she's taking her medications correctly. I just had her hours expanded. She used to be getting 10 hours a week, but now she's getting 30 hours a week and a nurse. It's just the nurse changes basically almost every day. You never quite know which nurse you're getting. I think that's just because of COVID, so they can't find enough staffing but the one lady she got is super sweet, very down to earth, very helpful, and encouraging. She makes my mother-in-law feel comfortable, and that was my main concern. I like someone who has a sweet spirit, so it wouldn't make her nervous. So, I've been super impressed.
