My grandmother was on service with Riceland Hospice and we were pleased with the care she and my family received during that time. Hospice is always something difficult to think about having a family member in but with the Riceland Hospice employees we had taking care of my grandmother we have a huge weight lifted off of our shoulders knowing that someone was always available to help with any issue or simply available to answer any questions that we had. I couldn't imagine having to go through that difficult time without the support and care of our Riceland Team. Riceland thank you for everything.

My mother in law was on services with Riceland Hospice and we could not have chosen a better Hospice group to go with. My mother in law have need met and then some. Our Riceland Hospice staff that we had were amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure all her needs and my families needs were met. Everyone we had the pleasure to meet were truly angels from the Chaplains to the Nurses would 100% recommend.

Riceland Hospice is one of the few locally owned and operated hospices that are CHAPS accredited. Rigorous national standards ranging from direct care quality to complaint response are applied by the Joint Commission to any facility wanting to be part of their certification program. Riceland is honored to have been approved multiple times by the Joint Commission, and we strive when medical care cannot offer a cure, that our hospice provides a compassionate method of caring for those who have life-limiting conditions. Hospice care is palliative with an emphasis on pain and symptom control, so the patients may live their lives as comfortable as possible.

Most hospice patients receive care at home while an inter-disciplinary team (physicians, nurses, social workers, aides, chaplain, and bereavement coordinator) provides treatment.
