We use Visiting Angels for my parents. I live out of town and my brother is at work, so I usually call. If they there's a problem, they call us to let us know that no one would be there that day. We've used them for two months and haven't had any issues. It’s pretty satisfactory. They do light housekeeping, change the sheets, wash a couple of clothes, and fix breakfast. They make sure my parents take their medication, help them get dressed, and get them out of the house onto the front yard to walk around; they assure me that they are not just sitting the whole day.
