We are using Allied Home right now. They come in and do physical therapy and some nursing. They're very nice, very helpful, kind to my mother, and professional. Their billing and scheduling are very good. They notify us and give us about 200 minutes to an hour heads up that they'll be arriving. We have not had any problems.

I have in home health care (Aides). For the most part each one is extremely professional and caring. My problem is the office and the upper management that covers them. If an aide is out, the office does not communicate with you to advise you that someone else is coming and or that they have no one available. Usually the later part. Many individuals under their care that i know, say the same thing. High turn over, no back up system. They need a system that will in all circumstances, provide care to the individual no matter the situation.

I was very disappointed in the care that was offered to my mother who became a client after her release from Allied Rehab. She has been waiting 2 days to get her coumadin orders. When called " I told ur mother to just take what she was taking" and I will get the results tomorrow. Well tomorrow came and went and still no coumadin orders and my mother had just had major surgery and this a new drug for her and her protimes were all over the place in the hospital and at the rehab. I would not recommend this home health agency to anyone. I called the on call nurse and was told she will have a supervisor call me late tomorrow morning. Unbelieveable. I was a nurse for 30 yrs and never saw an issue with my patients coumadin orders or any other health care provider that called the office looking for results. If we didnt have answers we sure did find a way to obtain them. we just didnt IGNORE them or the PATIENT! My god, what if she had no one to look after her best interest, she would be alone with no coumadin orders. Then what .... We all know what can happen.
