RUN FROM TRADITIONS HOSPICE!!! Traditions hospice made an already hard situation exponentially harder. WHEN they bothered to show up they had no idea what the situation was and no ability to answer questions. We very rarely had the same nurse and only one of them could be bothered to even act like they cared. One of them changed the bandages on her skin tears by wrapping tape around her arm - ON HER SKIN that was tearing! She was offended when I told her to stop. When my mother passed the "person" who showed up to pronounce and call the authorities asked why she stunk then said "Oh, she's probably already decomposing" and seemed to think it was funny when I commented that was more than slightly inappropriate. These are only a few of the highlights from a little over a weeks worth of incompetence from Traditions.

Traditions Health Home Health & Hospice Care is out in Oklahoma City but they're also providing care in Chickasha where my dad is. I would highly recommend hospice and Traditions' care. They've been a blessing to us. They provide sitters and nurses with my dad every 8 hours, and they have been wonderful, informative, kind, and caring people. I can't say enough about them. They have provided a bed, a mat for when he falls, continuous medication to help him, and 24-hour supervision. My dad is currently at a nursing care facility and Traditions come in there and provide hospice care at this nursing home. The scheduling was immediate and I haven't had to deal with any problems. Billing is all done through Medicare.
