We hired a service for the weekends to come for three hours each day to clean and reset my grandmother. The first aid they sent us was always late, embarrassed my grandmother, and needed help with her job when it can be done solo. She spoke about her bowel movements loudly in the midst of changing her and within earshot of family in another room. She stared at her in between changing instead of talking with her or sitting beside her which made my grandmother feel awkward about eating or just watching tv. We asked for a replacement and then nobody came. After I had to hunt down the point of contact multiple times, we only saw them 4 days out of 4 weekends. The miscommunication at this place is astounding. I would never use them again and I don’t recommend them if you’re looking for someone reliable.

We have Community Home Care for my mother. As far as I know, the nurses come in and check everything with my mother medically. The caregiver that is there with her is mostly there to make sure she doesn't have any problems. One of them came in and did some laundry for my parents, so that was very cool. They're doing a good job. The girls seem to be there when they're supposed to be there. Everything is being taken care of as planned. They follow through with everything they promise to do.

I am very familiar with home care as I am a physical therapist working with disabled adults and children. I know for a fact that the caregiver that is sent over from an agency will either make or break the situation. The caregiver that was sent over from Community Home Care is a total god send! She lives very close, she is very in tune with the alzheimer's disease. Mom has this horrible disease and I know she is in the right hands with this caregiver. She is caring, respectful and very reliable. She goes above and beyond and even takes care of the dog which is not in her job description. With my permission, she has brought her 11 year old darling daughter over to the house. I can't tell you what joy my dad feels when he sees his beloved wife playing with this wonderful child and seeing his wife laugh and play and see the happiness in her eyes. I can not say enough positive words about this agency. We love you Community Home Care!

CHC was a wonderful caregiver for my parents. The aides made made everyone feel comfortable and secure and they were always responsible, respectful and punctual. The CHC staff was also very good at finding the right people to meet our needs and were accommodating & gracious when any changes needed to be made. I would highly recommend CHC to anyone looking for care for a loved one.
