Falmouth town has a population of 12,312 residents according to 2010 U.S Census Bureau data. Around 18.7% of them are 65 or older, a bit above the national average of 16.5%.

Home Instead took care of our mother’s personal needs when she was no longer able to easily care for herself. Errands and doctor appointments were taken care of as needed and the staff was always dependable. Our mother enjoyed "her girls" and took an interest in them as they did in her. The office was always receptive and responsive to any concerns our mother had throughout the years. We are so grateful we discovered the wonderful care available through Home Instead and we easily recommend their service to anyone seeking quality care for a loved one. Neither of us ever had a concern about her comfort, care and happiness and that satisfaction is priceless.

The girl that we have from the In-Home Senior Services has been excellent so far. She takes care of my mother’s needs in the morning, like getting her dressed, doing her hair and those kinds of things. In the evening, she helps prepare my mom for bed. She also helps with laundry and assists my mom since her mobility is not great. The drawback for a lot of the agencies was that they require a minimum of four or five consecutive hours in a day, but we don’t need that much time. With In-Home Senior Services, they only require a minimum of one or two hours which was what we wanted.

If all of your caregivers are like Arleen, you have an exceptional team. We could not have asked for a better caregiver. Mom, with her short-term memory loss, still thought she was doing everything for herself and was dead-set against having any help. I don’t know how Arleen did it, but she not only managed to do what was needed, she became a companion mom looked forward to seeing and doing things with. Although she is a highly trained professional, I also think of her as a family friend. I am so grateful for the care, companionship and affection she gave my mother.

My family’s experience with LifeStages was phenomenal. We have had experiences with another local provider for private duty and were not as satisfied as we are now. Had I known about LifeStages before – we would have chosen LifeStages exclusively from the beginning. This group of people is by far the most inspiring group I have ever encountered.
Each person was so passionate about caring for others that it was touching. From my first conversation with Lisa in regards to my mothers needs; I knew that we had found someone who was more interested in listening to our needs than making a scripted sales pitch. Lisa was very helpful, informative and caring.
When we met Eva the following day to set up services it was a second encounter with someone who is so full of passion for people it is inspiring. She was so knowledgeable and incredibly honest. She took the time to listen to our concerns, answer our questions and really get to know us.
We have one point of contact through Eva which has allowed all of us the ease to ensure that everyone is on the same page. We can reach someone 24 hours a day; 7 days a week – this is a blessing! Eva is always responsive and can somehow always make us feel like she’s right in this with us.
We have 2 caregivers who are angels. These woman are so well put together, professional and passionate. They care for our mom with dignity and respect. Each interaction with LifeStages has been so positive over the last few months that we can finally be at ease. The staff at LifeStages cares for our mom in the same way that we would.

Home care services are only one of the pieces needed for seniors to gracefully age in place. There are many services and programs that are low-cost or free, that enable seniors to enjoy an independent lifestyle in the comfort of their own home, such as help with home modifications, meal delivery services, and more. Below, we’ve compiled a few of the most helpful resources in Falmouth:

This service is available to older individuals who are 55 and over. The Agency also runs a respite care facility called the Sam L. Cohen Adult Day Center, for seniors with memory impairments.
