"There are so many home health private care agencies out here in Hawaii that it is hard to find one that suits my grandmother's needs. She's in her late 80's with dementia but fairly functional and fiercely independent. We choose Kokua Care because it is one of the few companies that will actually drive the client in the caregiver's car. Most agencies would require me to leave my car home to let the caregiver drive it leaving me stuck. I use them a lot for taking her to her routine appointments since it is hard for me to take off of work to take her everywhere. It is easy to schedule with them via email since they are super prompt with responding. The caregivers are good too for the most part. Wish I could just have them at my house to watch her except some were too soft with her and were kicked out by her which resulted in her going to adult day wellness instead. "
