I am ever so grateful for "Home Helpers". When I brought my mother home May 22nd 2021, I was told I needed 24 hour care for her. I worked from home for approximately 2 months and then I reached out to your company. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated all the wonderful caretakers you sent to us. After my father had a stroke in December of 2019, we needed to get help in the home to assist him with many of his self care activities. We started with a different agency and we not at all pleased. We frequently received calls to inform us that there was no caregiver to cover a scheduled shift and we had little consistency with caregivers. After searching the internet, I decided to try Home Helpers. I cannot say enough good things about this agency!! We never had a shift that wasn’t covered and we were assigned two primary caregivers… Bernadine and Maria. Both were phenomenal with my father and they became family to us over the little more than a year that we had them until he passed. They communicated with me consistently and took such wonderful care of him. Whenever they needed to be off or were Ill, Meredith, in the office was always quick to get coverage. I cared for him part of the week and the caregivers were there when I wasn’t. When I needed extra coverage… Meredith always got us the coverage we needed. She was also so kind to my father and my family!! Even the subs that we occasionally had were fantastic. I always felt that my father was in good hands!! We started using Home Helpers to help with my aging in-laws, especially my mother-in-law while her husband was on hospice. We continued to use them for another 6 months after my father-in-law passed, until mom-in-law's dementia worsened to the point that she needed full-time skilled nursing care. The entire time, Home Helpers provided excellent service. The staff were caring and attentive. Home Helpers staff were flexible and helpful as our schedule changed and needs for services increased. They also worked closely with us on the transition to a long term care facility when we determined home care would not be enough. We highly recommend Home Helpers!

From the standpoint of the treatment, I met four of the helpers, and each one of them impressed me not only as to the personal attention they gave to my cousin but the amount of bonding and trust that they had with him.

Of the 3 agencies we interviewed, Michael with Home Helpers stood out as the one we felt most comfortable caring for my mother who needed 24 hour care. Michael's agency started in October of 2014 and stayed with my mother until her passing in December of 2015. Laverne was her primary care taker for the entire time. My mother was treated like family by Laverne. My mother was given great care by Michael's agency. When she had to go to a doctors appointment there was always proper assistance to helper up and down the stair lift. I highly recommend Michael and his agency. Thank you Michael and your staff.

My sister worked at Edward's Hospital and I was looking for a caregiver. She went to the office and found that Home Helpers was on the hospital's list. So she got me the name and called them and hired them. They're very good. I have an excellent caregiver, Liz, who is always there if you need her. When I call, she's there. I had 3 or 4 other services and Home Helpers is the best I ever had for 2 and a half years now. My caregiver is such a good cook and good at cleaning the house. She does my shopping real well. She takes care of me. I'd be lost without her.
