My feelings about Bridgeway are totally negative. They promised PT in home hospice, to make things easier for us to care for him, but after we signed up, they denied they ever did that. My husband had cancer but at the time was suffering from pneumonia. They refused to help the pneumonia; their answer to his rough breathing and painful coughing was for us to give him morphine. In fact, that was their solution to every problem that caused him non-cancer related discomfort, even bed sores. They promised on call nurses during the sales pitch and after we signed up, they denied that was true: we were to get nurse care just three times a week. Everything that they promised came too late or not at all. If you're looking for a company to provide more stress and difficulty in an already horrible situation, this is the company for you. I will never forgive Emory for siccing these people on to me.

After changing to another hospice I wish I would have changed hospices sooner for my grandmother. The first few days after starting with bridgeway I was impressed with all the care she got but then not long after the nurse aid never showed up and no one seemed to know when a nurse would really show up. I asked for a bath early in the day and was laughed at because of staffing. I spoke with administration who talked down to me and didn’t seem to care that my grandmother needed care. So glad we transferred and amazing the difference..I wouldn’t even start here.

These people made my dad's last days hell. Nurses did nothing. Meds to us never got shipped. We had to send my dad to the hospital. The meds came the day he died. Out of everyone that came to our house only the aid channel was the only person that gave my dad a 100 percent of her time . My dad should have passed at home with his family. The delivery drivers from hospice source that came to bring supplies they were great. If you hospice care for your love one look somewhere else.

My aunt is getting hospice care from Bridgeway, and they were recommended by the hospital. They come out a few times a week, help her with her bathing, and act as her primary physician. She’s comfortable and actually looks a lot better now than over he first couple of weeks when they started with her.
