Hudson house sits off of a dirt road in Hudson Florida. When you drive up the first thing you notice is that past the chain link fence, there is a large building with french doors with etched glass. There are always a few residents sitting on the front porch. Once you enter the building there is a dining area and a sitting area with an additional closed sitting room attached. There are two main halls of residents rooms. The nurses station is a locked room that you must knock on the door to enter. There are always several staff members on duty. There is an industrial kitchen just off the dining area. Every room is double occupancy and each room has a commode and shower. The entire building has tile floors, and it seems to induce the level of sound. In the middle of the building there is a outdoor patio wood deck. This assisted living facility caters to those whom suffer from mental illness of all exceptionalities. The median age appears to be about 50. As many times as I have frequented this facility, I have never seen any activities program. The food at this facility seemed fair.
