We are using Senior Helpers of Littleton, CO, for my husband. They provide primarily conversation and keep him involved in daily life. He requires a little bit of help with dressing, like tying his shoes, bending over, getting busy, and that kind of stuff. They have prepared meals, breakfast, and lunch. We've also gone out to lunch, which was nice, and we treated them too. We have a young man on Tuesdays, and the VA gives us 10 hours a week. So, I do Tuesdays and Saturdays, because I have so many doctor's appointments with him. I didn't want to take too many weekdays. So Tuesdays, it's 11 to 4, and Saturdays, it's 11 to 4. The young man we have on Tuesday is a young college student in theology school, and we have adopted him as our second grandson. We haven't filed the legal paperwork, but we really like our Tuesday person. Our Saturday person is OK, but we have had three different people in four weeks. So, we've not made a connection with those individuals.

I am using Senior Helpers of Littleton, CO, for my husband. They help get him dressed, make sure that he's brushing his teeth, do laundry for us, and change his linens. They do some light housekeeping, like washing dishes and breakfast dishes. They'll do some dusting and sweeping. We use them for about four hours a day. We have multiple caregivers. The billing - I like what they do. They send me a breakdown of who's been to the house on which day, how many hours they were there, and how much they're charged per hour. And it's all very clear. So, I like their pricing and the way they do it. Senior Helpers will send somebody from their office to fill in if there's a problem, because we had a couple of mornings where nobody showed up. I called them and said nobody's here. So, they're very good about backup help if you run into a problem, and that's a real plus for their company.
