Our primary purpose is to offer clients competent caregivers who are under a professional team of managers. Our services go well beyond the standards of most non-medical home care agencies. Our sample services but not limited to: Personal Care Companion Care Live-in Live out Hospice Companion Sleep over Personal Care Homemaking At Golden Independence we understand that home is where the heart is, and as we age it is often difficult for our clients to keep up with day to day housework. This often leads to a person feeling discontent and overwhelmed. Our caregivers can take care of a number of chores including: Dusting (weekly) Vacuum (weekly) Wash dishes Meal clean up Kitchen disinfect (sink, counters, fridge, garbage) Bathroom disinfect (sink, toilets, shower, garbage) Change bed linens Laundry Sweeping (daily) Mopping (once a week or as needed) Take trash out (on pick up days) Errands Transportation is an essential part of everyday living, especially when you take into consideration that a lot of client’s family members work during the day, which is usually when our client’s appointments are scheduled. Our caregivers are licensed and insured drivers that can provide transportation for the following: Dr. Appointments Beauty Parlor Barber Shop Grocery Shopping Pharmacy Visits Physical Therapy Movies Dining Out Proudly serving Alameda County. When I came across Julie's company, I found them to be the best the most comfortable, loving and personal experience. I was really overwhelmed with the comfort zone I had with Golden Independence versus other commercialized agencies that were around longer. Julie's company is self made and it shows from the bottom all the way to the top. I'm very impressed with every level of this company. Their care has been good for the most part. They're very easy to work with.

The staff at Golden Independence was so helpful, they were there to help us through a very difficult time. My mother had stage 4 breast cancer and the on staff nurse really helped with assessing her care. It was nice to know that we were in such good hands. And the caregivers went above and beyond the normal call of duty. From bathing and dressing mom to keeping her comfortable in her darkest hour. What Golden Independence did for me is give me the last days with my mom enjoying each others company. And that to me is worth everything. Thanks for everything

The staff at Golden Independence made the transition from hospital to home a smooth one. They took care of everything so I could focus on spending quality time with mom. I will be forever greatful for their 5 star service.
