We were very worried about having our mother on hospice services. As this was our first experience and we knew nothing about hospice. The staff at Hospice Home Care were amazing, they treated our mother like she was their mother. The nurse always told us what was going on and held our hand through the entire journey. Even though this journey was a very difficult one, it was some how better because of them. We wish we would have had hospice home care taking care of mother sooner. We will always hold a special place in out hearts for this company and the wonder angelic staff that took such great care of our mother.

We used Hospice Home Care in the home. On-call nurses took too long getting to our home when the Hospice Home Care Facility was only 15 minutes away. We called asking for a nurse to come and install a catheter when the patient was in extreme pain and needing to urinate and the nurse didn’t get there until 6 hours later. We had asked that all in home caregivers be Covid vaccinated so it seemed to take longer for them to find one. Our regular nurse was helpful and caring but did not take call at night or weekends. When the patient got really bad at the end I was alone with a caregiver. The nurses didn’t stay and only came later after the patient passed.
