My husband moved into Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care last night. The people are very welcoming. It's an extremely impressive place. Each nurse is in charge of two patients. They only have 12 beds. I know they publish a menu, and patients choose what they want. There are no limitations on food; whatever the patient wants and can eat, that's what they provide. They have a church facility. Each room has a patio associated with it where the patient can go outside and sit. They have a dining room. Each patient's room has a roll-out bed so that family can come and spend the night with them if they like. Two or three people can come if they want to, and they will make accommodations for them. They have a resident doctor and nurses. They have three levels of admission. If you come in under full care, Medicare covers all of that. If you don't get full medical care, Medicare pays a portion of your stay there, and then the patient pays what they call room and board. They have beautiful surroundings and furnishings.
