We're using Synergy HomeCare of Birmingham for my mother-in-law. They've been very good. We've been very pleased with them. The caregiver is very nice and does everything she needs to do and then some. She comes and stays with her when we don't have someone else to stay with her. She fixes her meals and helps her go to the bathroom and take a shower. She's got a good attitude, very sweet, and very helpful.

My mother-in-law has someone from Synergy HomeCare once every two weeks or so to help her with shopping or anything she needs assistance with. So far, everything's been OK. The owner of the company visited her, and my mother-in-law was very happy about that, said the owner was very nice, left her his card, and told her to call him when and if she needs anything. He did a really nice job. She had one issue with the first caregiver not knowing how to cook, but they fixed that by sending an older lady who was willing to do things my mother-in-law was asking her to do. So far, she likes the lady she has and it's working out.

My overall experience with Synergy is very positive. They are prompt, punctual, and very easy to work with. They helped me when I needed help and did what I asked them to do. However, before the services started, when I was calling and trying to schedule, there were some communication gaps between me and the person whoI was communicating with. That bothered me a little bit me. However, everything turned out fine. The people I worked with directly are wonderful.
