Room was marginal, an obvious add-on to a room with a single patient. Bed, furniture (no TV) crammed into al alcove. Roommate had history of complaints from other patients. OI was sent there by Regional West Medical Center for rehab. I arrived already ahead of the curve for rehab. On admission, evaluator expressed surprise at my level of ability (both physical and skilled) for occupational rehab. At the end of seven days, I had reached a rehab level with no further progress potential. Management of facility refused to allow me to move to home. At meeting with management they advised I had exceeded all levels possible and they had no further goals possible in my care, but I could not be released. I had to threaten to take legal action to have them realistically assess my goals, situation and ability for self care. Physical Therapists were excellent as was nursing care and dietary.

Goshen Healthcare was very helpful, and they have a regular care facility. They also have memory care which is where my mom is. It's a very nice facility with caring staff. The rooms are very well kept and nice. They have a salon, they do activities, and they have an activities director that comes in. The appointments were brief but informative.
