The layout of Mountain Plaza Assisted Living was beautiful. I liked the general atmosphere. It was very open and very welcoming. All the staff members were wonderful. They approached me to help in any way they could. They gave me a tour of the facility, both the assisted care area and the memory care area. Victoria was one of the ladies who gave me a personal tour. They have beautiful dining facilities for the residents and beautiful private apartments as well. The views are beautiful from the facility itself. I was very impressed with the openness of it all and the welcoming attitude of everyone there. It was highly recommended by a number of local longtime residents I talked to in Casper. The location is ideal. They have outside areas, which are spacious compared to other facilities I've seen. They offer an area for television viewing, like a general lounge area, or the residents may opt to watch television in their apartments. They have gaming activities, board games, card games, and different kinds of activities for the residents. I think people come in and lead interactive participatory activities such as sing-alongs and that kind of thing. I was kind of impressed with all of that. It's the most beautiful facility that I've seen for both assisted care and memory care. Although my mother will be going into memory care, I liked in particular, many of the apartments in the assisted care section are built around a center patio garden area, and many of the residents bring their pets, their dogs, and their cats. It's just very nice that they can open the door to their kitchenette for their dog and be out in the garden area. I thought that was beautiful. Then there are other apartments that are on the periphery that do not have a door access to the garden, but have nice views from a window around the periphery on the other side of the hallway. Everything looked immaculate. It was beautifully carpeted. The paint, the wood finishing, the molding, and all of that were beautiful. It looked very well done. They put a lot of attention to detail in the decor. The furniture was lovely. I would give this facility stellar ratings, and I look forward to seeing my mother there when there is an opening. There is a waiting list for memory care.

Mountain Plaza Assisted Living is excellent, and they've been very, very helpful. It's a very friendly facility that's well-run. The food is excellent. They have bingo, darts, singalongs, and exercises. They have book readings. They have various singing groups come in and sing with you. They have outings. They have something every day from 8:30 to 5:00. My husband's apartment is very nice and very well-maintained.

Outstanding and caring place with great people, great food and a great team. Clean, well maintained. I had my parents there for 6 weeks while we were in transit trying to figure out medical needs. It was an extremely stressful time that my family and I would never have survived without the help of this establishment. Rooms big, bathroom big, court yard and hallways wide and comforting. Lots of local musical entertainment. Thank you!! It’s been 1 year since we lived there but you all were so helpful.

From the moment we moved mom here, the entire process was easy and we felt very welcomed. Mom's mental and physical abilities have improved greatly since moving in. She loved the activities and food. Thank you to the whole staff!

Mountain Plaza was clean, spacious, and everybody there was friendly. It didn't look like a nursing home, but more like a home. The staff was wonderful, open, pleasant, and didn't have a problem with us peeking around. The room we saw was normal, with a hospital bed, or you could have your own bed. However, there was no kitchenette, and my dad wanted that.

Mountain Plaza Assisted Living was very clean. The time that I went on a tour, it was very quiet. I basically toured the memory care area because that's where my father is going to be. Some of the people were in the rooms, but most were eating lunch and they were very quiet. Part of the reason we didn't get into it too much is because the memory care area was full. The dining area was fairly clean. They showed me the different rooms or areas that they can go in for different activities, and they showed me one room that was being occupied by a lady. We saw her room and peeked in there and there was a bathroom adjacent to it. The person who assisted me seemed friendly. She even gave me a book called Creating Moments of Joy, which is a guidance book for if you have a loved one that has Alzheimer's or dementia.
