The Rivers was friendly, quiet, and spacious. Care was like one-on-one. I had to wait a while because everyone was being attended to. I went at lunchtime. It needed some updates. It was like 70s, 80s style. The rooms were comfortable. The layout was very accessible to the bathrooms from the rooms. It's like family. It's warm.

I have moved into The Rivers Portage. We have another family member here and that is what made the decision. The food is very good. I would say the staff is 50/50. 50 percent I like, and the other 50 percent I don't. The facility is very clean though. They have an arts and crafts area. They have a large living room where you can get together, watch TV, and visit with each other.
