Riverview Manor is the "Cream of the Crop" Memory care Facility In my opinion. The Staff is thoughtful, helpful and very caring towards the residents and their families. Any concerns are quickly addressed. May it be a problem with a toilet in the room or a question in billing. Someone is always available. Needs of the residents are always met with compassion. Takes a special kind of person with a huge heart and angel wings to work here. Thank you to Melaine and all the staff for what you do.

Riverview Manner is clean and bright. Every room has a window that looks out into the gardens. The grounds are well groomed and inviting. It was one reason I chose this facility for my aunt. She loves to be outside. In the spring/summer there are lots of flowers. It was important that my aunt have her own room, as she has been single and living alone most of her life. During the time when we were moving my aunt, the owners were very helpful in working with her previous facility to acquire the correct paper work and accomplish the many details necessary. The staff have always shown a genuine interest and care for my aunt. They care for her in a way that I wish I could. My aunt has been in this facility for over a year and I have never regretted that decision.

We are in the process of getting my husband into Riverview Manor. It’s a small one in Selah that just handles dementia patients. I toured it, and everybody that I talked to recommends it. It’s very clean, and doesn't have that scent that elderly people usually leave. I was really pleased with it and impressed by how clean it was and the friendliness of the staff.

Riverview Manor was highly recommended, so we chose it for dad. The nurses were nice and the aides were very good. They showed concern and were really helpful. My dad fell a lot and they took it upon themselves to order a wheelchair for him. They even asked the doctor to get him physical therapy so he could build up the strength. He had his own apartment and it was a good-sized room. You could put a queen sized bed in the bedroom. The bathroom was huge, it had a walk-in shower and a place to sit if they couldn't stand in the shower. I was really pleased at how big it was. They had activities like bingo and somebody was there everyday. My dad did not participate too much in the activities though. I liked the facility, I had no bad experiences at all and my dad was treated really good.

My father-in-law had been in two other facilities in Yakima, WA. The staff at the Selah facility kept my father-in-law clean, shaved and dressed in new clothes daily. His needs were met and everytime we visited, we were provided an update. The staff also kept us informed of physician visits and medication changes.
