My husband is at San Juan Villa. It's not convenient because I'm in Port Angeles, but that's not their fault. I have no complaint. The staff is wonderful. I think he's very happy there. He thinks of it as home. It is particularly nice because it's set up for dementia care where they have plenty of room to walk. My husband walks all day, and he can go outside because there's a large outside area, a garden, and an orchard area. So that's why I moved them there from Port Angeles. The cost was better than the facilities here for the same benefits. In terms of upkeep, it's good. They've always gone out of their way to be helpful. My husband looks well cared for, always dressed nicely and I think there's good interaction. He knows the people and he's comfortable. Activities are great, too. My husband is really into the activities and is always involved. In terms of value for money, no matter what you do, it is incredibly expensive and hard to swallow, but that is what it is. However, I would say, for their level of service, their rates are good. They deliver as much as they can.

We consider ourselves most fortunate to have this small, full-care, dementia facility in our small town. It just received the state's perfect score on this year’s inspection. After a year’s residence, were still in awe of the quality and care our family member receives.

We are so very lucky to have such a quality memory care facility only minutes away from our house. It was difficult to decide to move my mother when her care at home became more than we could handle. The staff at San Juan Villa made the transition seamless. They have an excellent staff, lots of stuff going on daily, a beautiful place and my mother is doing well there.

San Juan Villa is wonderful. They are amazing out there. My mom has been out there for about two years now and they are so good with her and they take very good care of her. The facility is always very clean and very nice. The staff is wonderful. I have not had anyone that I haven't liked. I've had nothing but good and positive experiences with them. They are all really, really wonderful. I have recommended them to several other people. The activity's director is great too. They always have lots of things going on for them. It's a really great community and I am really happy to have mom out there. We don't have to worry about her at all.

Really happy with the care my husband with dementia is receiving. Relatively small facility. I feel lucky to have gotten him in here one year ago.

I have found San Juan Villa to be the ideal place for my mom, who suffered a stroke and subsequently has significant memory impairment. The facility is clean, comfortable, attractive, and safe, and the residents have access to many pleasant areas, including outdoor courtyards with fruit trees and flowers. The staff is the most caring, considerate, and compassionate that I have found. My mom's physical health has improved significantly since coming to SJV, and she is mentally stimulated by the interactions with staff, and the range of activities that are provided. Our experience there has been entirely positive.
