My grandparents have led pretty cool lives. They hitchhiked across the country as youngsters. Grandpa was a park ranger and later a rural postman. Throughout their lives, they attended church and were generally good people the type that could be counted on when someone was in need. Amazingly, they both remain physically strong well into their eighties. But when their judgment noticeably diminished, my family chose to help them transfer into nursing home care at Pinewood Terrace. Pinewood seems like a decent place to be. According to the grandparents, the food is terrific and they enjoy their meals very much. The nursing staff always seems friendly and helpful, although perhaps slightly understaffed at times. The facility has always notified our family whenever the grandparents needed something (clothing, supplies, etc. or when a big event was coming up). Over all, for their safety, security, and comfort, I am glad that they are there. I feel that I can trust them to be in good hands.
