Westminster at Lake Ridge

Westminster at Lake Ridge was unbelievable because it's a continuity of care. So, their property was gigantic. We looked in the main building. They had nice apartments. The common areas were beautiful. There were lots of dining areas. They had a pool, a fitness center, and everything. The person who did the tour was super nice. She was great. We liked her. They have what they called "age in place" where you had to hire people to come in and take care of you. They were great, but they weren't what we were looking for.

My brother was at Westminster at Lake Ridge. My sister-in-law lives there now. It's nice. It has lots of stuff going on. It looks nice. Appearance is clean. It is very nice. With regards to activities, they have a woodworking shop, they put on plays, they have special activities on the holidays, and they have a choral group that sings. They stay pretty busy. My sister-in-law has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and an eating area. The food was outstanding.

Westminster at Lake Ridge was a very nice facility. The only thing I did not like about them was it was a buy-in and I wasn't looking for that, but it was a very nice tour. The apartments were small, but also very nice. They did not have complete kitchens because they serve all the meals and I was looking for one where I could have my own kitchen, but the people were very nice. I did not have a meal there at that particular time, but I have visited someone there before and had a meal, so I know the food is good. They have some exercise classes, too.
