Newport Health Care Center was a clean facility. There's a nurse staff on-hand and the social worker was good. My father enjoyed the food. They had lots of activities. They even got bands that come in and play for them. They had bingo, game day, church services, puzzles, and one-on-one with the staff where they would play, sit and talk with them. They took them out on trips to see the foliage and different festivals. However, they have to get more staff and improve on associating with the patients, but overall they did good. It's modern looking. He was also in their assisted living facility, which was in a different wing.

Not enough mental stimulation. Food is so so. To young undereducated personel There are better places outthere.
