"I went over to Blue Ridge Assisted Living & Memory Care. I like the facility. The people were very nice. They explained everything to me, walked me around, and showed me the place. I was able to see what wing my wife would be in, once she would be able to get in. In general, it was just a very pleasant experience. It was nice, clean, airy, bright, and uplifting. It wasn't depressing. We saw a couple of other places that were not as uplifting, so that played a big part in the decision-making. I saw them interacting with other patients or other clients. I liked what I saw. It was very comforting. I was there during midday, and I saw what they were putting for their meals. It looked very healthy. It was paleo."

"We have chosen Avail Senior Living for my mother-in-law. Their studio room is very spacious, and they provide a small refrigerator and a microwave. It is a newer facility, it's just a year old. It is very bright and airy, and there's a lot of sunlight coming through. They have sunrooms with skylights. They have a nice little courtyard and screened porches. The dining room was nice and spacious. Carrie was the one who gave us a tour of the place. She was great and we even talked to the owner, and they were both accommodating."

"This place is very quiet. It has a deck and many sitting areas for the residents. Another reason why we chose this place for my mother in law is that it's out in the country. She's used to this lifestyle. Her room is bigger compared to the one she has at home. She has a small table beside her bed, two chairs (one is a rocking chair), her own bathroom, and a nice, small walk in closet. The staff is really nice to her. She actually thinks they are her family. They pay attention to her needs. Since she's diabetic, they make sure her meals are always on time. They give her a small snack whenever she feels weak, they help her prepare for church and get her hair done. They've been great; they keep in touch with us if there are problems. Some activities present in this place are having the residents' nails done, planting flowers and watching TV together. However, it's better if residents have their own TV in their rooms. My mom became healthier after weeks when we brought her to this place. They are really taking good care of her. "

"I moved into North Cleveland Towers two weeks ago. The place is clean and it's quiet. There are some activities that you can do. I play bingo or there are a couple of different church services you can attend. They have a community room where the residents can get together, watch TV, play cards, or whatever. The place is set up as kind of an efficiency. So it's one big room with a kitchen and living area. The restroom is inside. It's clean and and well-maintained. You prepare your own meals."

"I liked that Garden Plaza had in-house rehab. The manager was very attentive. She seemed very nice. It was just further away from my sister who lived in Chattanooga. It was a smaller facility, but then again it was clean, and the staff was good. They seemed to be a good place. The location was fine, but it was just too far away from my sister so they couldn't easily visit my mom. It looked nice, it smelled nice, and I didn't see anybody being neglected. If it was closer, we could have considered it more. "

"I thought it was horrible when I first walked in there. The rooms were small and everything is old. It doesn't look like a modern facility. I didn't want my dad to be there because I hated how it looked. But since he had been there for a while, I think he was getting a really good care. The people at Bradley Healthcare & Rehab Center are the best. They seemed to know their patients really well. They were nice and sweet to my dad. They really had great people there. "

"My brother is staying at Signature HealthCARE of Cleveland. It's 5 minutes from my house. Everybody is really good. My brother has to share a room, and he doesn't even have a TV yet. I have no complaints about the staff. The dining area is pleasant. They have bingo, and people come in and sing. They have different activities. There's not a lot of room. My brother is a big guy who shares one room. About two or three outfits tucked up in his closet space. I've seen the food they gave him, and it looks good."

"We visited Legacy Village of Cleveland, which was a very premier facility. We wanted it, but it was out of our budget. I liked the architecture, the layout of the rooms, and the food. The food was excellent. We ate lunch there. The food was very pleasing to the eye and looked like a good variety. The facility was spacious. It is near restaurants, near the interstate, easy to get to, and it is near my home."
