"My husband needed specialized care and therapy after a 2 week stay in the hospital. This was so unexpected and we did no research as we had no time, we needed a place to go that would be central to all our family members and Dickson NHC was just that. When we arrived, I was very pleased with the atmosphere. It seemed like a hotel to me. Of course, we were there mainly to get IV medication and physical therapy so that my husband could return home again. He had lost all strength in his arms and legs and was in intense pain. We couldn't have asked for a better place. The nurses were kind, compassionate, caring of our concerns. The social workers were on top of things and the nurse practioner was always helping us with getting the right medications. I was able to stay in the room with my husband, they brought me a rollaway bed and we were allowed to bring our little puppy dog with us. She hadn't been away from us ever and she was in shock for the 3 weeks that we were in the hospital. So, as long as I kept her from attacking the staff (she's 5 pounds) and took her out to do her business, she was allowed to stay. They made us as comfortable as they could under the stressful situation we were in. The psysical and occupational therapy helped my husband (even when he didn't want the help as he was in extreme pain). They helped him get his strength back and at the end of a month he was able to walk quite a ways with a walker. That's pretty good for someone who couldn't turn over by himself in bed when he first arrived. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with the facility and every staff member-from all departments. Everyone was kind, compassionate and helpful. I thank God for everyone of the people who helped us in our time of need. Thank you all and may God bless you. "

"I live in Texas, but my sister has been in Hidden Acres for about a month and a half. Our brother visits her everyday and he is so impressed with how they take care of our sister. He also said all of the other patients are taken care of as well. He doesn't understand how anyone can give them a bad rating. So as far as our family goes we are giving them five stars for everything. Keep up the great work. God will bless you for taking care of his angels. "

"The staff and the residents at NHC Healthcare were nice. I'm very pleased with everything. The staff answers all the questions I had so that feels really good. My grandmother's room is nice. I haven't tried eating the food there but it looked okay. The facility doesn't smell and the atmosphere therein feels wonderful. So far the facility meets all my grandmother's needs. "

"The loving care our Dad receives at LifeCare is topnotch!!!! The administrative and nursing staffing team go out of their way to ensure his every need is taken care of. "The atmophere is very nice, homey, and professional at The Bridge At Columbia. My mother doesn’t participate in very much, just bingo once. I know they had a 100th birthday party just the other day, so they definitely do activities. The food is excellent. The facility is very nice, too. They will drive my mother with their transport vehicle to her appointments, and when they’re all done, the office calls them to take her back on the bus. If there's an emergency, they do whatever they need to do, like call 911, on the spot. They’re really good about what I’ve seen them doing so far. "

"Magnolia is great! Ghe care is wonderful, medical staff is alert to each resident’s needs. Its location close the MCRH hospital is thd best. The food is the best of many nursing homes ive visited, even the ultra high end brick and stucco places. I vould not have chose better!"

"Morning Pointe of Columbia was really nice and convenient. I thought their rooms were smaller than at the other facility I visited, but they were still good. The atmosphere seemed friendly. Everybody was friendly and playing cards. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was good. "

"Poplar Estates was very nice. I don't have anything bad to say about it. We visited this place for my mother-in-law. The facility was clean. Their rooms were very nice. Their staff was excellent. You can see the way that they are really taking care of all of their patients. The staff that entertained me during my visit was fine. They were very accommodating. Overall, it was very nice but we could not afford it. "

"This place is very nice and i decided to come here for many reasons. They take very good care of me here and there are plenty of activities to do here. The only thing i wish they would do a little better would be if they would help with our emothinal problems more often. Its not very crowded here, only a few rooms and people here. I enjoy visiting with my family as much as possible and they let me do so. I am thinking about upgrading to a different facility one of these days but you never know. All of the staff here are very friendly and know what they are doing and take care of us very well. Its not like staying at home but it will do for now. "

"My sister is at Magnolia Place Assisted Living. There's nothing I like about it. She can't go outside. Even when they finally let her go back out and do a little bit of activity, they won't let her associate with the people that she used to be friends with, and I don't like that. That's just contributing to worsening her condition in my opinion. They have laundry service, they do the meds, and they have a nail and hair salon. There are three meals a day with a snack. They have a microwave in the assisted living, but they don't have one in memory care. The only thing they furnish in memory care is a refrigerator that is not up to par where it will even keep ice cream frozen. When I'm around, the staff are very good. Food looks and smells good, but I don't know what it tastes like. The facility's cleanliness would get high marks though. That was one thing that was very impressive about it. It felt comfortable. They have activities, too, but I'm not sure exactly what they do. "
