Magnolia Place Assisted Living

My sister is at Magnolia Place Assisted Living. There's nothing I like about it. She can't go outside. Even when they finally let her go back out and do a little bit of activity, they won't let her associate with the people that she used to be friends with, and I don't like that. That's just contributing to worsening her condition in my opinion. They have laundry service, they do the meds, and they have a nail and hair salon. There are three meals a day with a snack. They have a microwave in the assisted living, but they don't have one in memory care. The only thing they furnish in memory care is a refrigerator that is not up to par where it will even keep ice cream frozen. When I'm around, the staff are very good. Food looks and smells good, but I don't know what it tastes like. The facility's cleanliness would get high marks though. That was one thing that was very impressive about it. It felt comfortable. They have activities, too, but I'm not sure exactly what they do.
