My 93 year old mother was in this facility for six months following a broken hip. She was neglected to the point of near death - severe dehydration, untreated urinary tract infection, pressure sores, foot drop. She fell out of bed twice within 12 hours requiring trips to the ER and stitches. I spent around 5 hours a day in this facility with my mother for 33 days until I could get her out. It is a dispicable place. If this is typical of what is acceptable for nursing homes, our society is sorely lacking...I filed complaints with the two different state agencies and talked to countless others - no one cares. My mother, by the way, recovered and is doing well AT HOME.
