My mother is in Cherokee County Nursing Center. They do have long-term care and also a center for rehabilitation. It was all very good. The food was good, and the staff was very attentive and kind. I have no complaints. The room is very nice, spacious, and well appointed. It's a very nice facility. They do have a lot of activities and social events scheduled for the patients. However, I get a little annoyed that there are no phones in the patients' rooms. There is a phone out of the nursing desk, which is often busy or goes unanswered. It would be better if there were telephones in all the rooms.
