As our mom rounds the corner to age 108 and still of sound mind, my family and I are convinced each day that we made the absolute right decision 3 years ago in selecting Vista Springs Quail Highlands as the way for her to live an elegantly serviced lifestyle with respect, dignity and intellectual stimulation. She has great friends, lots of activities and the staff, managed by Amy are long term team members, all of whom say that the reason for their longevity is the way Amy manages the organization and treats all of them with respect and kindness. That kind of long term staff retention is SO unique in today’s world of constant turnover. The facility itself is gorgeous, reminiscent of a high end resort with superior construction, fits and finishes all kept in great condition by the energetic Nino while finances are crisply handled by Shellie. As we all know, aging elegantly takes money, and the staff has been very helpful in making proactive cost saving suggestions And the food is very well done by the chef who knows each resident’s likes and dislikes and he caters to their preferences where feasible. Kudos also to Lisa, activities director and Angela to knows her so well, she anticipates what our mom will do, say, or need just as if she were her granddaughter. The entire Kneen family is grateful for Vista Springs Quail Highlands.

My mother-in-law has been placed at Vista Springs Quail Highlands assisted living. It's very well-run, very clean, and everybody has been very helpful and friendly. The aides and nurses, even the administrators, they're very welcoming and forthcoming with information. They have a lot of activities. They have a cooking club, knitting, they do puzzles, play cards and they have movie nights. She has her bedroom, bathroom, a smaller living area, and a little kitchenette.

My aunt moved to Vista Springs in Painesville. She's only been there for a little bit so she's under quarantine, and other than being advised that this is a great place by the hospital, I really don't know much about it. I was very, very impressed with the management style, and my aunt absolutely loves her studio apartment. We set it up just like her bedroom at her son's house. She's in assisted living, she's 96, but able to function on her own. She doesn't prepare meals, but it's not a nursing home. I visited the facility prior to her move in and it was very clean, appealing to the public eye, and the staff seemed to be very caring. I would highly recommend this to anybody. I have not seen any activities during my visit because this is prior to my aunt being placed there. You can basically look at it online, so I did more of checking online than in person. They had activities before COVID, but they follow the COVID rule as far as masks, social distancing, and testing. She tested negative when she moved there, but they're kept under quarantine anyway because she moved from a rehab facility to Vista Springs and she had COVID before she went to rehab from the hospital.

We have always felt Vista Springs Quail Highlands offered superior care for our mother, but over the past year the care has become even more superior. The management listens to any concerns and quickly implements or addresses any questions or requirements we have for our mom. She is very happy here. I am specifically writing today as it is Thanksgiving 2020. When looking at this review in the future, please remember this was the year of the pandemic. We could not safely take our mother out of the facility today. The staff provided a "safe" enclosed space for us to at least be in the presence of our mom while she shared her dinner. They also offered dinners to family members. In addition, Vista Springs Quail Highlands has managed to keep the virus away from the residence. Their strict protocols and safety measures have kept our mother safe and healthy during this difficult year. The staff is second to none and we are very grateful our mother is a resident here. Thank you to everyone at Vista Springs Quail Highlands. You allow us family members to sleep soundly at night.

I visited Vista Springs Quail Highlands a few months ago, and it was really nice. The people there were just wonderful, the men’s group were having a get together, and they were asking if we wanted cookies. The woman who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and very nice. The rooms were very nice, they have refrigerators and microwave, but no regular stove. They have a wonderful workout room where they have different therapists come in and help you, and if you have problems you could do your therapy right there.

What a wonderful caring community!!! It feels like home, not a facility!!! The all inclusive costs make the financial planning so much easier and rates are actually less than other assisted livings in the area. Food is tremendous!
