I visited this facility

Dayspring of Wallace was very nice, clean, and the people were friendly. We liked the community a lot. It was really beautifully decorated and there was no odor. The rooms that they showed us were nice, and the only thing we didn't like was that the rooms only allow one television, so they can't watch what they specifically want. The closets were also too high for a person with dementia. But other than that the size of the rooms were nice. We saw residents having lunch when we visited there, and they also had activities posted. They also have church for them, they have a beauty parlor, and it's nice.

I visited this facility

I liked that Dayspring of Wallace was bigger than other facilities. It was clean and it was good. They have an open area where you can go outside. It's across from a park, so the residents are able to go across the street to it, and it's kind of nice.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My sister is at Dayspring of Wallace. The facility is very clean and the staff was great. The people that worked there has been nice to us and helped us get things organized and work out for us. The room is good. It has a bathroom with a shower on it. They serve three meals a day and so far everything has been great. Partly, the activities that they have made us decide to choose the place. They have exercise, they walk, play bingo and a couple of more games. They take the residents out one time a week.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

I have visited Daysprings in Wallace, North Carolina many times to see family members over the years that were staying there. The Staff has always been helpful and very friendly. They seem to enjoy their job and truly care for the elderly that are living there. The Building is always clean and has a real home like feel to it. It feels more like a home than a nursing home. The grounds are always kept nice and the flower beds are lovely, it is very inviting to sit outside on pretty days to visit and talk with your loved one. The rooms inside are kept clean and are cozy. I have been very happy with the facility, staff and the care that my family members have received there over the years. I would recommend Daysprings of Wallace, North Carolina to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for their loved one.

I visited this facility

This Assisted Living Facility, called DaySpring, was a very nice and up to date facility. The staff was friendly and courteous and were all looking after the residents at all times. They seemed to really take time out with easch individual resident and make them feel important and wanted. I was really impressed with my visit here. I chose to visit with my church group to visit the elderly people and be nice and appreciate all of their time. They were all very nice and some of them had Alzheimers or memory loss so this was very sad to me. However, I took time with as many of them as I could to tell them about myself and let them know I was coming to visit them with good spirits and let them know that I wish them the best as well as my entire church group. This facility is definitely a must for anyone looking for an assisted living facility in the eastern North Carolina area and I would definitely recommend it!
