My mom has been at St. Regis for probably two months now. It is a very good facility. If you are planning on having someone you know or a loved one go to a nursing home, I would suggest this would be the best place to go, by far. My impression, compared to other nursing homes I found, is the friendly atmosphere of the people who work there and there is no bad odor, which I found in other nursing homes. The people are very friendly, and the associates are very nice. I would recommend it because they have great caregivers, and it is a clean facility.

My family received very personalized attention from the Director of Social Services. Without her involvement it would have been a very negative experiences. The staff (CNA's) were not as attentive as they should have been and they appeared to be short staffed frequently. This nursing home had a very institutional feel to it compared to other nursing homes I have been in. The reception area was not welcoming at all and they would avoid eye contact so they didn't have to assist you. The Physical Therapist that was there at the time was very helpful and my father liked working with him. The food selection was not ideal and there were not very flexible with variety. The food service staff where not very friendly to the residents. I would often go and help my father during meal time and I was not pleased with the staffs manner during meal time, they were very rushed and not personal.
