Fox Trail Memory Care Living at South River

I visited the Fox Trail Memory Care Living at South River for my sister-in-law, and I like that it was a very small community. They're in the process of renovation, and they told me that each room was going to have a different color door to help the residents find their rooms more easily because they would know what color their door was. The staff members were very understanding and very nice. I did view the residents, and they all seemed to be happy there. It was very clean and everything was on one floor, which I liked. They also had a nice sunroom that most of the residents were in.

I toured Fox Trail Memory Care Living at South River. The tour was fine and the director showed me around. It's a smaller scale and there was less staff. There are only two people who can get in and run around, and they're responsible for taking care of everyone and cooking. The place was new and clean, but the smell of urine was present in the dining area, which was a huge turnoff. There were shared rooms and there were single rooms available. Most of them did not have a bathroom, and there were a couple that did, but most of it did not. They have a living room area with a TV, chairs, and couches.
