My mother was at Golden Living Centers for five years. We were very pleased with the care for the first four years, and then they changed hands. Her room was dirty, her clothes were never changed. We were just not sure that she was getting everything else she needed, based on what we saw when we came to visit. So we just were no longer happy. When we reported the condition of her room and her clothes, they jacked up our rate considerably. And then nothing was done; they didn’t do what they said they were going to do. The staff we talked with when we went to visit my mom was extremely kind to her. I just don’t know why the care diminished to such an extent.
