I am a friend or relative of a resident

My grandmother was a resident at this nursing facility. She could walk with assistance, but the felt she was as risk for falls so they put her in a wheelchair and used a belt to keep her in place. When I would visit, she was always trying to remove the belt so that she could use the bathroom, and she could have used it on her own, but being strapped in the wheelchair, she was forced to use the bathroom on herself. I didn't like this place. The last time I saw her, she was grabbing her chest and saying "Oh Jesus". I brought one of the nurses in to check on her, and the nurse patted her stomach and told her she was probably constipated. She was dead the next morning, I'm sure from a heart attack, as she had had one in the past. I think a lot of these nursing facilities just do enough for the resident to not be considered neglect.
