I visited this facility

I like my tour at Aviva River Bend. I like the layout. The staff was friendly. There seemed to be plenty of aides and additional staff that I could see and interact with when I did the tour. The staff was very nice and informational. The rooms were quite nice. My concern with my father's dementia is the room is a studio, but it may have been too large for what he's used to. I visited early. There was not much that was going on. I didn't see a lot of residential activity at that point. I like the organization. It looked good.

Aviva River Bend was a beautiful facility, and we were very impressed with it. The staff who assisted us with the tour was very good. We saw a one-bedroom unit. It was adequate and it would have been great for my husband. It was nice that they could keep their residents active, especially when you're living alone, it's a great thing to have that connection with the other people there. The facility was big and they had so many things in there.

My mom has moved into River Bend Senior Living. They had an immediate opening, so that was probably the first option. She's been there before; she was in River Bend two years ago. I like that the size of the facilities is good. It's clean. The common spaces in memory care are small, so that's the main disadvantage. I think everyone is trying their best right now, but it's just very difficult when you're so short-staffed. In terms of food, my mom seems to eat it fine. The facilities are nice, but I don't have much to comment on as far as amenities. They have a little courtyard and a dining area. No gym though.

My mom will be moving here. I'm very pleased with them. They've been informative and caring in the process. The nurse has been helpful because my mom has stage 4 cancer. She's been helping us with additional resources for us. It's like palliative care or hospice care, which is why we've been very pleased with their expertise and assistance. The rooms are clean, spacious, and bright. With regards to food, it seems like they're very accommodating. There's a library, there's a movie room, and there's an exercise room.

I visited this facility

I toured here. Their one-bedroom apartments were very adequate with the exception that they don't have a stove, but I understand why they don't. It's very nice though. They have a nice exercise room and a beautiful dining room. The people were very nice and very pleasant. The person who gave the tour was very pleasant, very nice, and very helpful as far as what she could do. The dining area was beautiful with white tablecloths and everything. It struck me as very professional. I was hoping they had a pool table, but they didn't. They have a lot of different activities.

I like that it was a smaller place, and they seemed to have all the good amenities that my mom would want. The dining room looked really nice. They had a beauty shop, a workout room, a lot of gathering spaces, a movie room, and a game room. There are a lot of different areas to get together with people. The staff was good and thorough. They showed me a couple of apartments that were available and showed me all the different areas.

My mother has moved here. So far, it's pretty good. We moved in during the winter months, so it's a little more restrictive as far as them being able to get outside and walk and get exercise. One of my mom's strong suits, before she moved there, was the ability to get out, walk around, and be outside, and we're still working on that part. I like the staff. It looks like they have a little music, they have a church, and I've seen them do craft-type activities where they make things for special occasions. They have different social things. The food is pretty good.

My mother-in-law was in here. The staff was very good. The apartments were very spacious and clean. She was in memory care. The food was as good as any other community. I was not able to go and see her because of Covid. They didn't have as many arts and crafts that she told me about. I do not believe that they did as many, but this was all during Covid so it is unfair to say. The facility was always clean. They were always very good about communication. They had a small courtyard, but I never got to use it due to Covid. They were always courteous and kept us in touch about any concern.

My mother has been here since the beginning of this month. We've chosen them because of its proximity and the views. The staff is fine and they seem to be caring. She's kind of a foodie, and she says the food is not bad. Her room is like a small apartment. They don't have a lot of activities right now because of COVID. The facility is excellent and very well laid out. It is more of a traditional type, but it's a new building. They seem accommodating and willing to work with us. It's right by the Silver Lake, so it's pretty and only about a mile to downtown.

The staff was very nice. The atmosphere was awesome. It was very clean and very nice. They showed me a studio and a one-bedroom, and they were both very nice. The studio overlooked the river, and it had a beautiful view. The one-bedroom overlooked the parking lot, but it was still a nice room. They were both very nice rooms. They had a secured area out back where there were some patio chairs and a picnic table or a lounge table. There was a group of guys sitting out there chatting and laughing and having a good time. Their dining room facility was down to one person per table, and they were kind of staggering everybody eating for safety. They had a little library section with chairs scattered about, definitely socially distanced, and there was a lady in there reading and she looked happy and content. It seemed like a very nice place. They had bingo and activities, and there was a shuttle bus that takes people to all their appointments.

I went to here. It was very nice, everything was fine, and I would have gone with it, but they assessed my mother and they said they would not be able to accommodate her. It was clean, they were friendly, attentive, and it seemed like a warm, friendly, and nice place. They had a shuttle bus, they were baking cookies when I was there, there was a nice dining room, and I liked that. It felt more homey.

We enjoyed our visit with them. It's in a really nice place and it's visited quite often by doctors from Mayo Clinic. It's a great place. They had a lot of activities, clubs, gym rooms, people that will help you with exercises, card games, and a little library. The staff was nice and very friendly. They gave us a grand tour, explained everything, and showed us different apartments.
