My father has moved into Harmony River for 24-hour full-time care. It's a beautiful place. It was more like an apartment living. The style of the TV room and the kitchen area is more like a house versus a nursing home. There are birdcages there. It's more upbeat and like family than a typical nursing home (which sometimes looks hospital like). They're phenomenal. The staff is great, very friendly, and has updates for me when I call. I call every day, and they update me on how he's doing. They're very attentive to my dad and take care of him. The facility is fabulous, very homey, very friendly, and very upbeat. It's a little pricy. They have a chapel, a barber shop, a physical therapy area, and a lot of group activities for those who are able to participate. They can participate in a lot, like movie nights and stuff like that.

I visited Harmony River and it was very good. They had 1-bedroom apartments and they were very clean. They had a dining room, event room and a gym. They had several little gardens too. The staff was very friendly and caring.
