My sister-in-law is now at White Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care. They have gone out of their way to help us. They got her in right away. Everything was taken care of. And they've been very good with her since then. Everyone is very pleasant. My sister-in-law enjoys the food. She was not eating before she went in there, so she's eating meals that she didn't eat before. So it has helped her quite a bit. With regard to upkeep, it's clean. And people talk to you as you go down the hall. It's been very good.

We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the staff! They have been thorough and caring to my Dad and all of our family. Their communication is spot on! The facility itself is beautiful and well kept and my Dad is an eater! He enjoys the food and the variety offered.

We toured White Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care. We were very impressed with the situation. We were looking for a two-bedroom unit, and we were able to see one because a friend of mine is there now. So, we looked at her place, too, and we were very impressed with the size of the rooms. The accommodations were very nice. So, the view was one thing. My friend, she looked out on the parking lot, but she said she didn't mind that at all. It was a positive visit. As far as we know, the staff would just be the person who took us on a tour and answered any questions we had. The courtyard was very pleasant to look at, but some of the rooms had views that were not anything particular, and that's something I'm used to looking at, a beautiful view, so I'd like to have something that is pleasant to look at. The library, I was impressed with the size of that. It's larger than others I've seen, and as far as a gym, you have a lot of equipment there.

My father has resided in Independent Living at White Lake Asst Living Facility for seven months now and it has been a very good fit for him. Every staff person I, my father, and other family members have encountered have been genuinely caring and sensitive to his needs and other residents have welcomed him as well. He enjoys interacting with everyone there. The facility itself is very clean, spacious, bright and airy and the food is great. His living area has everything he needs and he feels comfortable there. All the great amenities, caring staff, and comfortable living environment gives the family and I peace of mind, but it is on the costly side. That is the ONLY downside!

My mom will be moving into White Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care. It was very clean and up-to-date. Everything seemed well-organized and very welcoming. I liked the layout of the room and the view that it had. I saw the dining area, and it was very bright and cheery. They've got good activities scheduled and a nice room for them.

White Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care kind of met my expectations. They showed me a two-bedroom, which was roomy and had a nice kitchen to it. It was connected to the rest of the facility. So there's activities and a sit down restaurant type of dining area, which I was kind of impressed with. For the independent living, they would give you an option whether you wanted to do one or two meals a week, or a day, or no meals. So, you would have that option anytime, and you can just go and get a meal if necessary. There's also storage and a place for your car to park. Personally, it was close to my home, which I liked, so it would have been easy for me to get there. The lady that gave the tour was very helpful and said her parents had gone through something similar. So there was a little bit of a connection there for what I was looking for, and what she had experienced. The people that I talked to were very nice and helpful.

We went to White Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care. My mom is on the waiting list for independent living, and my dad has a spot in memory care. The staff was awesome. They were very, very helpful and very friendly. When we got to the memory center, you could see the level of interaction between the residents and the staff. They were available, and they were interacting. The dining area for the memory center is in the memory center, and it's just a little area that has a kitchen with a counter and a sink. I saw two people eating, but I didn't try any of the food while I was there. They have a main kitchen and then they bring the food into the memory center for those residents. It was very clean. There was one issue they had with a ceiling tile that was leaking, and the next time I went back, it was already fixed. In the memory center, they have a shower room on both sides. It's like two long hallways with an outside courtroom in the middle. There's a shower room on one side and then a shower room on the other. They also have a spa if the residents want to take a bath. It looked like a jet tub.

White Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care was a very nice facility. It's very clean and they got good staff. It was the newest of the places that I looked at and they seemed to cover more things in their overall fee. I was very positively impressed by that, but it was also the most expensive.

Our family consists of 7 families who visit our mother frequently. We all love the facility and tried to make her room to fit her needs. We love the activities they provide to keep the residents active and involved. We would definitely recommend this facility to others! 1)Watch over your loved one’s meds and care. BE INVOLVED. If there is something you feel is not right, be persistent and address. It will not get better without your involvement. 2) Would love to see more supervision in the memory care regarding meds given properly, showers/baths given on days allotted, overall appearance of residents. 3) There are many wonderful activities in the facility that your loved one can participate, even just to watch. The staff is 1:7 ratio and need your help. 4) Your loved one lives in the moment and when visiting, make the moments special. Take them out for a color tour or just ice cream, do a puzzle, talk to them about what is going on even though they don’t understand, be present for them. 5) Would love to see the staff talk to each resident/family at lunch/dinner, in passing, or during an activity.

Bright, cheerful and clean. The atmosphere feels more like a community, rather than a facility. The rooms are small apartments, some with kitchenettes, sliders to a small patio, some with bay windows. Large, private bathrooms. Generous closet space. There are many comfortable common areas, for gathering, dining, puzzles, books or coffee. Gorgeous fireplaces and a lovely sunroom. Outdoor secure walking paths, raised bed gardening and a gazebo. Daily activities, crafts, bingo, exercises, movie night, game nights, spa nights and on-site salon. Holiday celebrations are well organized, fun and include family and children. The food is superb!! The care staff genuinely care, they know the residents personalities and what they like. Meds are dispensed regularly and carefully. Communication with family is excellent. Our mother is thriving here!

My mom is currently in an independent-living apartment at White Lake Assisted Living. Our family appreciates that there is staff available 24/7. Staff are caring and very responsive to both my mom and the rest of our family. They keep the residents busy with activities and there is a good sense of community.

So comforting to know our father is being checked on regularly, fed, given meds, and encouraged to participate in activities. Facilities are clean and inviting and staff is professional, friendly, and welcoming.

My mom moved into White Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care 2 days ago. She's in independent living and her experience has been good. Everyone is really friendly, and they have a lot of activity for the residents. They do movie matinees, they play bingo, and they have exercise classes. That's all I can think of right now but there's more stuff I can't remember. She's in a 1-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and it's very nice. The rooms there are beautiful. The place looks very well-maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dining area looks good.

My Father was in the assisted living area for one year and then memory care for one year. He received excellent care and the staff treated us and him like family. My dad loved the food and participated in many of the activities. The staff find ways to make each resident feel special, and they go out of there way to make sure they are comfortable and engaged with what is going on. They contacted me by phone or iPad everyday through the covid lock down to reassure me my dad was fine, and so we could stay connected. I can’t imagine a better facility to have my father stay at!

The facilities and rooms are wonderful. It is a very inviting place. The rooms are kept very clean and are spacious. They try to have activities for the residents. Unfortunately staffing has become an issue. There used to be very caring, helpful staff who knew the residents well. That is no longer the case.

The Community does have a lot of rules that are needed for the safety of the residents. Covid has created more regulation which makes it more difficult to visit. The facility is very nice. It's in a beautiful setting nestled back in the property. The rooms are spacious and we were able to make it home for my Mom. She loves the meals and has the choice of eating with others in the beautiful dining area or getting her meal delivered to her room to eat in private. The staff have been great with her; she loves them all! She was thrilled to have her hair done at the in-house salon. Many activities such as Bible study or join together for a movie in the afternoon. Maybe even Bingo after lunch time.

My mothers room is spacious and clean with sliders to a patio. It offers her a space that feels like a home not a facility. The staff are all very caring and attend to her needs quickly if she presses her call button. The call button is worn around her neck as a necklace so it is accessible at all times which is better than a pull cord placed somewhere in the room that she may not be able to get to. I also like the fact that it pages the staff directly to their phone. The facility offers many amenities such as a beauty shop, community room where they hold regular activities, and a gazebo outside with a fire pit where they have sing alongs. The food is all handmade rather than offering pre-made Gordon food meals. I can’t say enough about the quality of care here.

Mom moved to WLAL from another assisted living facility. The change in Mom's attitude was dramatic. She went from simply living to enjoying life. The facilities are very clean, homey and up-to-date. The staff are very attentive to her needs and always helpful. I asked Mom if they respond quickly to her call button and she said yes, but she almost never has to use it because someone is always checking in on her. The staff are always friendly and have always been helpful with my requests as well. Mom enjoys her clean, spacious room with an outdoor view and all of her daily needs being met promptly. Other residents have told me "if you have to be someplace, this is a good place to be". My mother and I would wholeheartedly agree.

I looked at White Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care. It's a wonderful, lovely place. I couldn't ask for more. The people were great. Everything was very pleasant. The director was very knowledgeable, and the dining area was very neat and tidy. She showed me the menu and everything. It would be where I would choose for my brother. I was totally impressed with it.
